The scientific program at the International Conference on Inorganic Membranes was carefully structured to give participants a comprehensive view of the field's current state and future directions. Opening and plenary lectures set the tone by addressing global challenges in membrane science, while the Burggraaf session honored the legacy of a pioneering figure in the discipline. Parallel sessions offered deep dives into membrane materials, preparation techniques, and characterization methods, with a dedicated track exploring functional layers for emerging energy applications such as batteries and fuel cells. Poster presentations rounded out the exchange, giving researchers at all career stages the opportunity to showcase their latest findings and engage in informal, productive discussions with peers from around the world.
